We Are GAF-Certified Contractors
Only about 7% of roofers are GAF certified, and this proudly reflects our rigorous commitment to quality and to staying up to date with the latest advancements in the roofing industry through continuous training.
Ortiz Roofing Solutions is also authorized to offer excellent lifetime limited warranties, providing some of the best coverage available on qualifying GAF roofing systems.
WARRANTIES

At Ortiz Roofing Solutions, we work with the best materials on the market to ensure the durability and performance of every roof we install. When you choose to install GAF shingles with us, along with at least three qualifying accessories from the same brand, you can access a limited warranty backed directly by GAF.

Leak Barrier
The leak barrier is a self-adhesive membrane installed in the areas most prone to leaks, such as valleys, eaves, chimneys, and skylights. Its function is to seal the roof from the base, preventing wind-driven rain or melting ice from penetrating the structure. This accessory provides an additional layer of protection, reducing the risk of rot, mold, and structural damage caused by moisture.

Roof Deck Protection
This synthetic or felt material is placed over the roof’s wooden deck and beneath the shingles. It acts as a second line of defense against water and improves ventilation within the system, allowing the roof to breathe while blocking moisture. It also contributes to a more uniform installation and enhances the overall durability of the shingles.

Rake Starter Strip Shingles
Starter strips are essential for the lower edge of the roof. These pieces are installed before the first row of shingles and provide a secure seal against wind uplift and water runoff. By offering a straight, adhesive edge, they ensure a cleaner, stronger, and more professional installation.

Attic Ventilation
This synthetic or felt material is installed over the roof’s wooden deck and beneath the shingles. It serves as a second line of defense against water and improves system ventilation, allowing the roof to breathe while blocking moisture. It also contributes to a more even installation and enhances the overall durability of the shingles.

Ridge Cap Shingles
Ridge cap shingles are the finishing touch of the roofing system. They are installed on the upper intersections of the roof (ridges and hips) to fully seal the system and provide a uniform, aesthetic finish. Beyond their decorative function, they offer additional protection against water and wind infiltration in the most exposed areas.
